Mosque - A Play by Jihad Milhem

Join the Black Actors Guild and Emancipation Theater Co. as the bring you an amazing original work - "Mosque", by Jihad Milhem.

Mosque is the story of a young man and his family as they struggle with living in a post 9/11 America. In particular, the community is torn over the 2010 rebuild of a Mosque near ground zero, which stirs conflict and brings age old feelings to a head.

The Guild is proud to present this work at The People's Building in Aurora, though it will only appear nine times on five days through the three week run.

Also, there will be a special panel event for Mosque on May 5th - where actors, writers, and community members will discuss the nautre of being muslim / arabic today in America and attempt to dissect some modern issues.
