The People’s Building’s Lower-Level Performance Space Incubation Program is designed to support emerging, experimental, and community-centered performances in a collaborative, shared-risk model. Instead of a traditional rental, participating artists and organizations receive hands-on support around marketing, ticketing, audience development, and production, while keeping the focus on artistic growth and community impact.
How it works:
Ticket Revenue Split: Artists and producers keep 75% of ticket sales, with 25% supporting facility operations and program sustainability—eliminating traditional rental costs.
Collaborative Support: We partner with you to plan marketing, set sales goals, and promote your project through newsletters, social media, press outreach, and on-site visibility.
Audience & Community Impact: Build your audience, engage with Denver’s vibrant arts community, and experiment with new work in a supportive environment.
The program is perfect for performance organizations and independent artists looking to grow their presence, explore innovative ideas, and benefit from strategic guidance and community exposure.
The next round of incubation performance applications will open soon.
